We’re seeking an experienced Field Technician/Geo Technician to join a leading exploration team for the upcoming drilling season.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work through to December, working alongside an experienced and supportive exploration crew.
Working within a busy exploration environment, you’ll support RC and Diamond drilling programs by carrying out a range of field and core yard activities including:
- RC sampling and sample management
- Diamond core processing
- Core mark-up and orientation
- Core photography
- Core cutting and sampling
- Core delivery and organisation
- General field and exploration support
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Field Technician, Geo Technician or Field Assistant
- Demonstrated experience with RC sampling
- Strong experience processing Diamond Core, including core mark-up, photography, cutting and sampling
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence (or Australian equivalent)
- Loader Ticket (highly regarded but not essential)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
- Commitment to working safely and respectfully, including adherence to site and cultural heritage requirements
