Silverstone is partnering with a well-established mining contractor to recruit experienced Electricians for a newly commissioned iron ore operation in Western Australia.
We are seeking multiple Electricians to join the maintenance team on a FIFO 2:1 roster from Perth. These positions will suit tradespeople who enjoy working in a hands-on environment and can adapt to a varied workload across a busy fixed plant operation. You’ll be responsible for maintaining critical plant infrastructure while working closely with mechanical and operations personnel to maximise plant performance and minimise downtime.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance across crushing and processing plant equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on fixed plant assets
- Respond to breakdowns and support plant reliability initiatives
- Conduct inspections, testing and scheduled maintenance activities
- Maintain conveyors, pumps, screens, motors and associated systems
- Assist with plant optimisation and commissioning support as required
- Complete maintenance records and work orders accurately
- Contribute to a safe and productive team environment
About You To be considered, you will possess:
- Current WA Electrical Licence
- Previous experience within mining, fixed plant or processing environments
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities
- Exposure to crushing circuits, conveyors, pumps, screens and motors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist where required across site
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Roster & Site Details
- FIFO from Perth, 2:1 roster
- Option of 7 days / 7 nights rotation or 14-day shifts
- Thursday fly-in/fly-out days
