Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Silverstone is currently seeking experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to join our client’s gold mining operations in WA who can provide reliable maintenance support across the site. This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role with a well-established mining operation. 
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical and instrumentation maintenance across processing plant facilities
• Preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical equipment
• Instrumentation installation, calibration, and inspections
• Maintain PLC, control systems, and associated equipment
• Complete electrical inspections and testing in line with site standards
• Support site maintenance activities and collaborate with other trades
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures

Requirements:

• WA A-Grade Electrical Licence 
• Cert IV Instrumentation (highly regarded)
• Previous mining experience with fixed plant maintenance essential
• Camp maintenance experience highly regarded
• Gold mining experience or processing plants highly regarded
• High Voltage Switching experience preferred
• Experience with PLCs and instrumentation systems
• Experience with Allen Bradley, Endress & Hauser or similar systems advantageous
• Unrestricted C Class Driver’s Licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Ability to get a National Police Clearance
