SMP Supervisor

Silverstone is partnering with a leading lithium mining client to recruit a S26 qualified SMP Mechanical Supervisor for a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth (days/nights roster). This is a temp to perm opportunity offering long-term stability on a well-established site. 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supervise SMP works across a construction project
• Oversee structural steel erection, rigging, and crane operations
• Coordinate mechanical, piping, and structural teams
• Ensure QA compliance and safe execution of all works
• Manage reporting, work orders, and drive efficient project delivery
• Utilising doc control (Aconex) and completions software

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualified 
• S26 Qualification (it’s essential)
• Strong experience in SMP, structural steel, and rigging
• Proven background in crane lifts and complex rigging scopes
• Experience in large-scale mining or infrastructure projects
• Previous supervisory experience (client-side preferred)
• Experience with SAP, Pronto or similar systems
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience utilising doc control (Aconex) and completions software
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current National Police Clearance
