Charge Up Operators
Silverstone, on behalf of our client are seeking expereinced Charge Up Operators for an immediate start. These are long term, temp to perm opportunities with an owner/operator gold producer in the goldfields, WA.
On Offer
- Contract positions with an owner/operator gold producer
- $900 – $1,000 per day
- 8/6, 7/7 roster
- FIFO from Perth
- Superannuation paid on all hours
The Role
- Safe handling, transport, and management of explosives
- Charging, priming, and firing in underground environments
- Conducting pre-starts and maintaining equipment standards
- Reading and interpreting mine plans and ground support designs
- Working closely with Shift Supervisors and cross-shift crews
- Contributing to continuous improvement across site practices
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 6 months’ experience as a Charge Up Operator
- Proven background in underground development
- Current WA Shotfirer’s Licence
- DGSC certification
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
