Roster: FIFO from Perth | 8 Days On, 6 Days Off

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Laboratory Technicians to join a growing gold mining operation in Western Australia. Working within an on-site laboratory, you will play a key role in supporting mining and processing operations through the accurate and timely analysis of grade control and process samples.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse samples using PAL and AAS methods.
• Conduct routine instrument maintenance and calibration.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe laboratory environment.
• Communicate effectively with operational departments including Metallurgy and Geology.
• Ensure laboratory equipment and safety systems are maintained and operational.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous laboratory experience, preferably within a mining or mineral processing environment.
• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (desirable but not essential).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Sound computer literacy and data entry skills.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
