Accounts Officer/Administration

We are seeking an experienced and organised Accounts Officer/Administrator to join a well-established mining company for a temp role with potential to go permanent for the right person.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of accounts, administration and office support. You will play an important role in keeping the office running smoothly while supporting the finance and wider business functions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Processing and facilitating the payment of supplier invoices
• Raising and issuing customer invoices and credit notes
• Investigating and resolving purchase order and invoice discrepancies
• Managing and maintaining fuel cards
• Coordinating IT equipment orders and liaising with the external IT service provider
• Providing general administration and office support
• Acting as the professional first point of contact for visitors and guests when covering the reception desk
• Supporting the wider team with ad hoc administrative duties as required

To be successful, you will bring:

• Previous Accounts Payable and Receivable experience
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage invoices, purchase orders and discrepancies accurately
• SAP experience is Essential
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• A professional and welcoming approach to dealing with visitors and internal stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
• The ability to work independently while being a supportive team member
