About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team and support the continued growth of our Surveying division. This position will have a primary focus on overseeing and supporting our FIFO surveying operations, with ad hoc Perth-based and site visits as required.
- This is a senior role suited to someone with strong technical capability across SMP, civil and concrete scopes, who can also provide leadership, mentoring, and operational support to help drive the continued growth of our FIFO division.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support surveying operations across FIFO projects
- Survey set-out and verification for SMP, civils and concrete works
- Earthworks, concrete pours, foundations and structural set-out
- As-built surveys and reporting
- Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and project managers to ensure smooth delivery
- Ensure survey deliverables meet QA/QC requirements and project specifications
- Mentor and support junior surveyors and site teams
- Maintain survey equipment, documentation, and reporting standards
- Conduct ad hoc Perth metro/site visits as required
About You
- You will ideally have:
- Minimum 5+ years surveying experience (FIFO experience highly regarded)
- Strong background in SMP, civil and concrete projects
- Ability to work independently and lead survey activities across multiple sites
- Proficiency with Trimble / Leica equipment and surveying software
- Strong reporting, organisational, and leadership skills
- White Card + valid Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass relevant medical and site requirements
