Plant Metallurgist

Opportunity:

An outstanding opportunity now presents to join our client mine site as a Plant Metallurgist for their lithium site based in the goldfields region. This is an ongoing position on a “family friendly” 8/6 days only FIFO roster.

As the Plant Metallurgist you will be reporting to the Senior Metallurgist and your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Assist with plant optimisation
• Define and maintain plant targets and communicate to operations and maintenance personnel
• Maintain production data record systems and monitor key equipment to ensure performance, components and alternatives are optimised
• Undertake plant surveys, test work and project activities

  
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering)
• Previous experience working as a Metallurgist within lithium mineral processing (2+ years)
• Flotation experience 
• Ideally have worked with Lithium previously
• A genuine interest in improvement of systems and efficiency
• Experience running a Jaw crusher, SAG and Ball Mill Grinding, Gravity circuit and CIP would be highly regarded
