Underground Service Crew
Silverstone are currently seeking experienced Underground Service Crew Operators to join the development team of an owner/operator gold producer on an underground gold project in WA. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting critical underground services to ensure safe and efficient mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, extend and maintain underground services including ventilation, water, air, power, communications and paste infrastructure
- Install and maintain vent bags, secondary fans, vent walls and doors
- Complete underground pipework and service installation using poly and steel systems
- Assist with grouting, plating and cable bolt tensioning activities
- Operate ITCs and other underground service equipment to support service crew activities
- Operate EWPs as required
- Complete inspections, basic servicing and minor maintenance on service infrastructure
- Identify and report service issues to minimise operational downtime
- Use hand tools and equipment safely to complete underground service tasks
- Complete accurate shift reports and service documentation
- Support general underground operations and production activities as required
About You
- 1 year underground service crew experience
- Experience operating ITCs and EWPs
- Practical understanding of underground ventilation systems
- Experience with underground pipework and service installation
- ITC and other nationally recognised underground tickets
- Current WA Manual C Class Driver’s Licence
- Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
- Nationally recognised Working at Heights certification
- National Police Clearance
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
On Offer:
- FIFO from Perth on an 8:6 even-time roster, day shift only
- Contract opportunities with an owner/operator gold producer
