Silverstone are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a strong background in mining projects across both underground and surface operations for an ASAP start at one of our gold mining clients. 
 
This position will play a key role overseeing mechanical crews and coordinating project works across fixed plant and mining infrastructure environments. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established operation with ongoing project scope and long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise mechanical crews across mining project works
  • Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to schedule
  • Liaise with client representatives, contractors, and site departments
  • Drive safety, compliance, and quality standards onsite
  • Assist with planning, reporting, and project execution activities

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within mining environments
  • Proven project background across underground and surface operations
  • Experience supervising mechanical crews on mining construction or upgrade projects
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of safety systems and site compliance requirements
  • Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts in fast-paced environments

Required Tickets & Qualifications

  • Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
  • S26 (essential)
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • National Police Clearance
  • Working at Heights & Confined Space
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Full Australian working rights
