About the Role
You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced processing environment, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the plant. Your day-to-day responsibilities may involve monitoring and operating equipment across crushing, milling, CIL/CIP, elution, and tailings circuits, ensuring optimal plant performance while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards.
Duties Include
- Operating and monitoring equipment across various areas of the processing plant, including crushing, grinding, CIL/CIP, elution, and tailings circuits.
- Performing manual labour tasks such as hosing, shovelling, and general housekeeping to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Conducting routine plant inspections, monitoring plant performance, and reporting operational issues or abnormalities.
- Assisting with start-ups, shutdowns, and troubleshooting activities as required.
- Working collaboratively within production teams to achieve daily production targets and optimise plant performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in mineral processing or process plant operations within the mining industry (gold processing experience highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of processing plant operations and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Current Manual Australian driver’s license.
- Current National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.
