We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a growing lithium mining company on a temporary basis. This role will be working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, with an initial duration of 3–4 months covering a period of leave, with potential to extend.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional with Pronto experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.
Reporting to the Finance Team, you will be responsible for managing a range of accounts payable activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing high-volume invoices and payment runs
- Matching invoices, purchase orders and receipts
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
- Maintaining supplier records and responding to supplier queries
- Performing reconciliations and general AP administration
- Supporting month-end processes
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Working closely with internal stakeholders across the business
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Officer role
- Pronto ERP experience is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
- Experience within mining, resources or heavy industry environments (highly regarded)
