Silverstone are currently recruiting a mining experienced A Grade Electrician for a well-established gold mining operation in the Goldfields.
About the Role:
As a Fixed Plant Electrician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems across the processing plant and associated infrastructure. You’ll work within a supportive and safety-focused team environment to ensure optimal plant performance and compliance with site standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance, breakdown repairs, and installations on fixed plant equipment (gold processing plant, crushers, conveyors, mills, pumps, etc.)
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostics on electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and site safety procedures
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks in line with schedules
- Assist with commissioning and project work as required
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
What We’re Looking For
- A Grade Electrician with a current WA Electrical Licence
- Proven fixed plant electrical maintenance experience within mining or mineral processing, gold experience is desirable
- Experience across crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, motors and associated plant equipment
- Confident electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Experience with VSDs, instrumentation and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience working safely within an operational processing environment
- PLC/SCADA experience highly regarded
- HV switching experience highly regarded
- SAP experience desirable
- Strong safety focus and a practical, hands-on approach
- Current CPR/LVR
- National Police Clearance
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and site inductions
- Full Australian working rights
