Silverstone is a highly successful solutions provider in the water, energy and power generation market servicing Australia’s leading mining firms. We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated HSE Advisor to join our Projects team.
This role is ideal for someone who loves being out in the field, working closely with crews, and making a real impact on safety day-to-day — not just behind a desk.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Championing safety on site through inspections, field leaderships, and toolbox talks
- Working hands-on with supervisors and crews to maintain safe work practices
- Supporting site operations across civil and dewatering projects
- Collaborating with another HSE and reporting to the HSE Lead
- Encouraging a proactive, team-first approach to health and safety
What We’re Looking For
- Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety
- Cert IV Training and Assessment – Highly Regarded
- ICAM – Highly Regarded
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Well-developed knowledge of the Occupational Safety & Health Act, Occupational Safety & Health Regulations, Codes of Practice etc
- High developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed Microsoft Office/Technology skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
- Ability to continuously improve work processes
- High level of organisational skills, including a high attention to detail
- High level of communication skills
- Must be able to pass a PEM and DAS
