Silverstone, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced Shotcrete Sprayer for an immediate start at an established underground gold operation in Western Australia. This is a long-term contract opportunity with an owner/operator gold producer, working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
The Role
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient application of shotcrete to provide surface ground support and stabilise underground excavations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating shotcrete equipment safely and efficiently
- Spraying shotcrete in line with mine plans, ground support requirements and site standards
- Completing pre-starts and equipment inspections
- Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and equipment care
- Working closely with underground mining crews and Supervisors
- Supporting the delivery of safe and efficient underground operations
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience as an underground Shotcrete Sprayer / Shotcreter
- Proven experience operating shotcrete equipment in an underground mining environment
- Strong commitment to safety and operational standards
- Current manual WA driver’s licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Full Australian working rights
