Silverstone Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Shotfirers for ongoing opportunities within established gold-mining operations across Western Australia.
With a choice of either a 2:1 or 8:6 roster, these positions offer flexibility depending on your preferred working arrangement. Both rosters are FIFO from Perth.

Key responsibilities:
- Safely conducting production firing activities
- Handling and using NONEL initiation systems
- Charging blast holes and preparing shots
- Completing pre- and post-blast inspections
- Maintaining accurate blast documentation
- Working closely with drill and blast crews
- Following all site safety procedures and statutory requirements
To be considered, you will require:
- Previous Shotfirer experience within an open-pit gold-mining environment
- Experience using NONEL initiation systems
- Current WA Shotfirer Licence
- Dangerous Goods Security Card
- National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
