Nigel is Silverstone’s dedicated WHS Manager, bringing over 20 years of health, safety, and risk management experience across the Mining, Construction, and Heavy Industry sectors. He plays a critical role in embedding a culture of safety across all Silverstone projects, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and client-specific frameworks, including BHP, Rio Tinto, and many others.
Nigel leads the end-to-end implementation of Silverstone’s Zero Harm strategy, incident investigations, workforce training, and WHS auditing. He has been instrumental in maintaining Silverstone’s outstanding safety record, including a 0.00 LTIFR and consistently positive WHS audit outcomes across more than 900,000 rolling man-hours.
Known for his calm leadership style and deep understanding of operational risk, Nigel supports site supervisors, project managers, and HSE representatives to uphold Silverstone’s “Silverstone Standard” — prioritising people, process, and performance in all aspects of WHS.
