SMP Supervisor
Silverstone is partnering with a leading lithium mining client to recruit a S26 qualified SMP Mechanical Supervisor for a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth (days/nights roster). This is a temp to perm opportunity offering long-term stability on a well-established site.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervise SMP works across a construction project
- Oversee structural steel erection, rigging, and crane operations
- Coordinate mechanical, piping, and structural teams
- Ensure QA compliance and safe execution of all works
- Manage reporting, work orders, and drive efficient project delivery
- Utilising doc control (Aconex) and completions software
What We’re Looking For
- Trade qualified
- S26 Qualification (it’s essential)
- Strong experience in SMP, structural steel, and rigging
- Proven background in crane lifts and complex rigging scopes
- Experience in large-scale mining or infrastructure projects
- Previous supervisory experience (client-side preferred)
- Experience with SAP, Pronto or similar systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience utilising doc control (Aconex) and completions software
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Current National Police Clearance
