Silverstone is currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to join a high-performing project team within a leading Lithium mining operation in Western Australia. This position is offered on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO within the Pilbara region.
The Opportunity
As the E&I Supervisor, you will oversee electrical and instrumentation works across a range of capital infrastructure projects on a major Lithium operation in the Pilbara. Working closely with contractors, site stakeholders, and project teams, you will play a key role in delivering accommodation facilities, workshops, offices, crib rooms, and associated mining infrastructure safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This role requires a strong background in mining or heavy industry construction, contractor supervision, statutory compliance, and project coordination within an operational mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Electrical & Instrumentation personnel and contractors across capital infrastructure projects
- Oversee E&I works associated with accommodation facilities, offices, crib rooms, workshops, portable buildings, and mining infrastructure
- Coordinate contractor mobilisation, site compliance, and daily project activities
- Ensure all works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Allocate work effectively while providing clear direction, technical guidance, and ongoing support to the team
- Liaise closely with site operations, project teams, planners, and stakeholders regarding project priorities, schedules, and progress
- Monitor construction activities and provide daily progress reporting to management
- Conduct fault finding, commissioning, inspections, and quality checks across installed infrastructure and site facilities
- Ensure all electrical works comply with WA legislation, statutory requirements, mining regulations, and Australian Standards
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site procedures, environmental standards, and Life Saving Rules
- Identify and resolve project issues to minimise delays and maintain project delivery targets
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within site management systems including PRONTO
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across site infrastructure and project delivery activities
Essential Requirements
- Schedule 26 qualification
- WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical Licence
- HV Switching Operator Competency
- WA C Class Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within mining or heavy industry
- 10+ years’ experience within the electrical industry
- Previous experience supervising construction, infrastructure, or NPI projects within mining environments
- Experience managing contractors on operational mine sites
- Strong understanding of statutory safety obligations, mining regulations, and Australian Standards
- Previous experience working across accommodation villages, workshops, offices, portable buildings, or mining infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Strong computer and reporting skills
- Experience using maintenance management systems, ideally PRONTO
- Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic operational and project-based environment
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance
