About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated Lube Technician to join our mining operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing lubrication systems on heavy mining equipment, ensuring smooth operations and reducing downtime. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in lubrication maintenance, fault-finding, and working within a wet processing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and dispatch oil samples for analysis.
- Troubleshoot and maintain automated lubrication systems.
- Install and service single-point lubricators.
- Inspect and refill lubrication units on mining equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Check and top up oil levels in gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and lubrication units.
Skills & Experience:
- Unrestricted C Class Driver’s Licence
- Hands-on experience in a wet processing facility with conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps, stackers, mills, reclaimers, and train load-outs.
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, P&IDs, and engineering drawings.
- ISO Lubrication Analysis Category 1 Certification (preferred).
- Desirable: Forklift and HR Licence.
