Charge Up Operator’s
- FIFO ex Perth | 2/2 roster | Days & nights
- Long-term contract opportunities with an owner/operator gold producer
- $900 – $1000 per shift + Super paid on all hours
Silverstone is seeking experienced underground Charge Up Operators for immediate starts at an established underground gold operation in Western Australia. These are long-term contract opportunities with the potential to transition to permanent employment for the right people. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of underground development activities,
Job Duties Include:
- Safe handling, transport and management of explosives
- Charging, priming and firing development and production drill holes
- Working across underground development headings
- Completing pre-starts and maintaining charge-up equipment to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting mine plans and drill patterns
- Working closely with Shift Supervisors, development crews and cross-shift teams
- Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and housekeeping
- Contributing to continuous improvement across site practices
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months’ experience as an underground Charge Up Operator
- Current WA Shotfirer’s Licence
- Current DGSC certification
- Valid manual C class WA driving licence
- Strong commitment to safety and operational standards
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Full Australian working rights
