Silverstone are seeking an experienced Warehouse/Storeperson for a hands-on role. You’ll be responsible for the efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and parts that support our mining operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring the timely supply of goods,
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of tasks including the receipt, storage and delivery of product, machinery, spare parts and accessories
- Ensure all incoming goods/materials are appropriately tagged and located
- Carry out activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle
- Loading and unloading of goods using a forklift or other manual handling equipment
- Liaise with third party freight service providers and schedule pickups
- Take steps to avoid quality control issues
- Participate in regular stocktaking and provide status reports to supervisor
- Assist with locating and labelling of new warehouse bins to accommodate future growth and product/parts holdings
- Comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines and takes corrective action when necessary
- Undertakes other tasks as directed or that may develop due to the changing aspects of the role
- Maintain proactive, dynamic and effective communication with customers at all times
Essential Criteria:
- C class driver’s Licence
- FIFO experience
- Pronto experience
- Forklift Licence
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar stores/warehousing roles
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office
- First Aid qualifications (desirable)
- Full Australian working rights
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office, ERP or inventory systems).
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
