We’re seeking an Underground Shift Supervisor (WA Shift Ticket) to join a well-backed gold producer with multiple underground operations across WA. With a strong pipeline of growth and a focus on operational excellence, this is a chance to step into a high-performing team. You’ll have the option to join on a permanent basis or as a contractor, depending on what suits you best.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll play a pivotal role in leading underground crews to safely meet production targets. These are hands-on, site-based leadership roles working in well-established mining teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise underground mining crews during shift operations
  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Coordinate daily production activities to meet targets
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to new operators
  • Oversee equipment use and ensure operational standards are maintained
  • Liaise with technical services and surface teams to ensure smooth shift handovers
  • Fulfil Section 26 statutory responsibilities in accordance with legislative requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as an Underground Shift Supervisor in WA
  • WA Underground Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency (Section 26 Statutory Qualification)
  • Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of mining equipment and underground procedures
  • Manual WA driver’s license
  • WA Shift Supervisor’s Certificate (essential)

Rosters, Locations & Conditions:

  • FIFO 8/6 7/7 from Perth
  • Excellent site facilities including strong WiFi, Foxtel, gym, and restaurant quality food
  • Salary – $225,000 + Super + 15% quarterly bonus + benefits including private health/income protection insurance etc
