This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on IT support, problem solving and working closely with users to deliver reliable and efficient technology solutions. You will play a key role in supporting both corporate and operational teams, ensuring IT systems, hardware and applications remain functional, secure and aligned with business needs.
Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will gain exposure across desktop support, service delivery, systems administration and onsite operational support while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
About the Role
Reporting to the Service Delivery Lead, you will provide both remote and onsite technical support to internal and external stakeholders, assisting with service requests, incident management, hardware deployment and troubleshooting activities.
This role offers a strong mix of technical support, customer engagement and operational exposure, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their IT career within a large and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1/2 desktop and technical support to end users
- Manage incidents and service requests through Freshservice and Aircall
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network-related issues
- Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops and user accounts
- Support system access, security controls and IT standards
- Coordinate IT support across corporate and operational environments
- Maintain accurate documentation, knowledge base articles and support records
- Liaise with service providers and assist with service improvement initiatives
- Assist with hardware rollouts, upgrades and system maintenance
- Participate in after-hours support and future on-call rosters when required
- Work collaboratively with broader IT and infrastructure teams
You will ideally bring:
- Experience within a Service Desk or Desktop Support environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to Microsoft environments and end-user support
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service delivery
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and user support
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Microsoft Certified Professional
- ITIL4 Foundations highly regarded
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Degree or qualifications in Information Technology advantageous
