Throughout his career, John has played a pivotal role in establishing and managing Silverstone’s surveying capabilities, supporting projects across mining, construction, infrastructure, and energy. With extensive experience in survey management, John brings precision, reliability, and deep technical expertise to every project. His long-standing commitment to Silverstone reflects his passion for delivering accurate, innovative, and practical surveying solutions that drive successful project outcomes. John’s leadership, combined with his ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams, has been instrumental in positioning Silverstone as a trusted partner across the resources and construction industries.
Nigel is Silverstone’s dedicated WHS Manager, bringing over 20 years of health, safety, and risk management experience across the mining, construction, and heavy industry sectors. He plays a critical role in embedding a culture of safety across all Silverstone projects, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and client-specific frameworks, including BHP, Rio Tinto, and many others. Nigel leads the end-to-end implementation of Silverstone’s Zero Harm strategy, incident investigations, workforce training, and WHS auditing. He has been instrumental in maintaining Silverstone’s outstanding safety record, including a 0.00 LTIFR and consistent positive WHS audit outcomes across more than 900,000 rolling man-hours. Known for his calm leadership style and deep understanding of operational risk, Nigel supports site supervisors, project managers, and HSE representatives to uphold Silverstone’s “Silverstone Standard” — prioritising people, process, and performance in all aspects of WHS.
